Aggregate-based concrete is crafted from granular materials such as sand, gravel, and crushed stone, which is then blended with hydraulic cement to create concrete.

Concrete, with its natural stone-like appeal, is extremely durable, strong, and offers tensile strength. You can expect varied surface pitting, patterning and exposed aggregates with concrete, due to how it's formed.

Due to the variations during the formation process, no two concrete pieces are exactly the same in terms of aesthetic and texture. Variables such as surface pitting, surface patterning and exposed aggregates mean that every piece of concrete is unique - please keep this in mind when ordering.

Fair faced concrete is classed as ‘decorative concrete’, and is naturally smoother and lighter than traditional concrete. Fair faced concrete is not plastered or veneered, meaning that its finish is finer and smoother.

Concrete is a hardwearing and resistant stone, however it can be prone to stains and chips if not cared for correctly. We recommend that the concrete products should be cleaned immediately after use, rinsed with warm water or a p-H neutral cleaner, and dried with a soft cloth. Please follow the instructions on the packaging of your chosen cleaner, and do not use cleaning products that contain bleach or harsh chemicals.
