What are the characteristics of concrete?

Are all concrete basins the same?

Due to the variations during the formation process, no two concrete pieces are exactly the same in terms of aesthetic and texture. Variables such as surface pitting, surface patterning and exposed aggregates mean that every piece of concrete is unique - please keep this in mind when ordering.

What is fair faced concrete?

Fair faced concrete is classed as ‘decorative concrete’, and is naturally smoother and lighter than traditional concrete. Fair faced concrete is not plastered or veneered, meaning that its finish is finer and smoother.

How do you clean a concrete basin?

Concrete is a hardwearing and resistant stone, however it can be prone to stains and chips if not cared for correctly. We recommend that the concrete products should be cleaned immediately after use, rinsed with warm water or a p-H neutral cleaner, and dried with a soft cloth. Please follow the instructions on the packaging of your chosen cleaner, and do not use cleaning products that contain bleach or harsh chemicals.

Are concrete basins durable?

Concrete sinks are extremely durable and are designed for longevity. The material is highly resistant to scratches, is easy to clean, and offers high levels of tensile strength.
