How do I maintain a freestanding stone bath?

The stone resin used throughout our collection is a relatively low maintenance material, and can be kept clean by regularly washing with warm, soapy water and drying with a soft cloth. How does stone compare to other materials?

We offer freestanding baths crafted from a range of materials, including freestanding stone baths, freestanding cast iron baths, marble baths, and freestanding acrylic baths, as well as designs in forged carbon fibre and translucent resin. Each material offers unique advantages, however stone baths have a distinct look and feel that’s warm to the touch, and the intrinsic strength of the natural material enables us to offer a lifetime promise across our stone baths and basins.

Can a stone bath be installed in a smaller bathroom space?

Can a shower be installed over a freestanding stone bath?

Do stone baths retain heat?

Stone resin is exceptional at retaining heat, resulting in a long-lasting bathing experience. In comparison to acrylic baths, stone baths can retain heat up to ten times more due to their durability.

Does stone resin discolour?

The limestone we use to create stone resin is purified and cleaned ensuring the resin product is of a radiant, natural white finish. The material is colour resistant, ensuring it doesn't lose its colour and remains intact for time to come. However, darker tones can be more conspicuous of scratches than a white bath.

Are stone baths sustainable?

Stone resin is a naturally sourced material, it ensures natural replacement and repair, and is completely recyclable if you ever wish to discard your bath. The renewable material is kind to the environment, as the naturally quarried limestone is grounded into a fine powder before being mixed with clear resin.

Are stone baths covered by a guarantee?

Our stone baths, marble baths and cast iron baths are covered by a lifetime guarantee. However, concrete baths come with a 25 year guarantee.
